（美しいクラゲをマリアナ海溝のエニグマ海山、深海3700メートルで発見）

昨年4月、NOAA（アメリカ海洋大気庁）のツイッターアカウントに驚くほどUFOに似ている新種のクラゲの映像が投稿された。

この光る深海生物は、「ヒドロクラゲ」の仲間と見られており、NOAAの海洋探査船「オケアノス・エクスプローラー」の無人探査機「Deep Discoverer」が、マリアナ海溝の「エニグマ海山」を探査中に水深3700メートルで発見された。
