Shedd Aquarium ──BUSINESS INSIDER JAPANより転載 明るい話題が少ない中、アメリカでは からっぽの水族館を探検するかわいらしいペンギンの姿 が人々の心を温めている。 そのペンギンは、新型コロナウイルスのパンデミックで営業休止中の イリノイ州シカゴにあるシェッド水族館 にいる。 ペンギンは今週、シロイルカの｢カヤバック（Kayavak）｣｢マユアック（Mayuak）｣赤ちゃんの｢アニック（Annik）｣に会いに行った。 ウェリントンを見つめるシロイルカ。 Shedd Aquarium シロイルカたちは特にイワトビペンギンの｢ウェリントン（Wellington）｣に興味をそそられたようだ。 ウェリントンに近付こうとする2頭のシロイルカたち。 Shedd Aquarium ウェリントンが気になって仕方ないシロイルカ。 Shedd Aquarium シロイルカたちがペンギンを見たのは、恐らくこれが初めて だろう。シロイルカは北半球の北極海に生息する一方、ペンギンはもともと南半球に生息している。 ペンギンのウェリントンから目が離せなくなったシロイルカたちは、水槽のガラスのすぐ近くまで近寄ってウェリントンを見つめていた。 Wellington, meet the belugas!
